There could be a number of reasons. But the most common one is that your phone does not have SyncML technology built in.
If your phone is not listed as compatible on our phone pages, then it is unlikely that your phone has the required software. And unfortunately, it is not currently possible to install the required software on phones that do not have it installed at the point of manufacture.

To synchronise, your mobile phone needs to have a piece of software on it that supports synchronisation over-the-air using a technology called SyncML (or OMA DS - Open Mobile Association Data Synchronisation).

When you set up a Mobyko account, you'll be able to upload, save and share your photos and videos. You can also save and send text messages straight from your Mobyko account online to anyone, anywhere in the world. Dont forget to pop back next time you upgrade your phone.
If you have a Motorola phone which is shown as compatible with Mobyko, but does not have the sync option on your phone - it would appear that your phone does not have the sync software on it that is required to sync your contacts. Unfortunately some networks ask the handset manufacturer to remove some options from certain devices. We believe this is usually to make room on the phone for other network specific services.
Unfortunately it is not possible to install the software on your phone after the point of manufacturer. This therefore means that you will not be able to sync your phone contacts with Mobyko
