GPRS/Data/Internet for your phone, is the method by which your mobile phone connects to the internet via a mobile phone network.
To be able to synchronise with Mobyko, your phone needs to be able to connect to the internet - i.e. be able to view WAP/internet pages on your phone.
Your phone contacts need to be sent securely over the internet to Mobyko. This can only be done using an internet connection.
GPRS settings are usually added to a phone at the point of manufacture. To find your GPRS settings please consult your user manual. If you do not have any then they can be sent to you for free from the website of either your phone's manufacturer or your network provider.
Please select the WAP/GPRS/Internet profile of your network provider. If one does not work then try changing to another before retrying.
To be able to synchronise with Mobyko, your phone needs to be able to connect to the internet - i.e. be able to view WAP/internet pages on your phone.
To find out if you have the correct GPRS/Data/Internet settings on your phone, you can check by going to the web or services menu on your phone, then select 'go to address' or 'enter address', and type www.google.com and then connect.
If you are able to see the Google page on your phone, then you have everything required to set up your phone to sync with Mobyko. If you are unable to see the Google page on your phone it would appear that your mobile account is not activated for GPRS/Data/Internet use. To get this enabled, you will need to contact your mobile network operator/carrier and ask them to activate GPRS/Data/Internet on your account.
If you are certain that you have GPRS/Data/Internet on your phone, and can connect to a mobile internet site from your phone (e.g. www.google.com), but you still cannot synchronise, then it may be that there is a problem that our Support Team will need to investigate. Therefore, please contact our Support Team on any of the methods listed and they will be happy to get your problem sorted.
