In my contacts list what do the different icons to the right mean?

Up to date this contact is up to date in your Mobyko Address book and on your mobile. (up to date on mobile)

Sync this contact has been added or updated in your online Address book and will be updated on your mobile next time you sync. (sync to update on mobile)

Delete this contact will be removed from your mobile phone next time you sync. (sync to delete from mobile)

Computer this contact is in your Mobyko Address book only. (not on mobile)

How do I create a contact?

It's easy. Just sign in to your account, click on Address Book and then click on New Contact at the top. You can click into the fields you want to add and complete all the details you need to. Any information that you add is automatically saved for you.

How do I delete a contact?

Click on the contact you wish to delete, then click on the bin to the top right of the screen. You will be asked to confirm deletion just to make sure. But don't worry if you do make a mistake as you can retrieve your deleted contacts. See 'I have accidentally deleted a contact - how do I get it back?'

Why can't I see all of my contacts' information?

If you add more details to your contacts, you will notice a scroll bar appears at the bottom of the page. If you click on the arrow you will see the screen moves and you will be able to access all their details.

How do I export my Address Book?

You can export your address book if you wish. To do this, simply click Export at the top of your Address Book and follow the on screen instructions.

How do I import an address book?

You can import your other address books to Mobyko. First you need to Export your contacts into a .csv file. Once you have done this, click Import at the top of your Address Book in Mobyko, then follow the instructions on the screen to import your addresses.

How do I create a group?

Click on New Group in your Address Book, search for the contact you want and drag and drop them from the left side directly into the group. They will automatically be saved as soon as you drag them in.

I have accidentally deleted a contact - how do I get it back?

Deleted contacts can be found by choosing 'deleted contacts' in the sort contacts drop down list. To view this, move your mouse over the down arrow at the top of the A-Z contact list. Select to view your deleted contacts, then click on a contact you wish to restore. You will see a message asking you if you want to permanently delete or restore that contact. Click 'restore' and your contact will be back in your normal contact list.

Can I restore permanently deleted contacts?

No. Once a contact has been permanently deleted from the deleted contacts area of the Address Book it cannot be retrieved.

Will deleted contacts be included in a synchronisation?

Yes. Any contact which is deleted from your phone or from the online Address Book will be included as a 'delete' in the synchronisation. This means that when you delete a contact from the phone then synchronise, it will be deleted from your online Address Book and vice versa.

How do I see my friends' Twitter feeds?

All you need to do is add your friends' Twitter name to their address book entry under Web. Each time you sign in to Mobyko you will see how many Twitter updates you have.

How do I see my friends' Facebook status updates?

First, you will need to install the Facebook App from Mobyko on Facebook and start matching your friends on Facebook to your friends on your phone. Follow this link to find out more. Once you have matched your friends and synced your phone, not only will you see their profile picture in your Address Book, youll be able to see their Facebook status updates, every time you sign in, keeping you in touch with whats your friends are up to.
